Commander in Chief was an American drama television series that focused on the fictional administration and family of Mackenzie Allen (portrayed by Geena Davis), the first female President of the United States, who ascended to the role after the previous chief executive, Teddy Bridges (played by Will Lyman), died in office from a sudden cerebral aneurysm. The series began broadcasting on ABC on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, although most countries outside North America began screening the series in mid-2006. 1 The show was actually good until they replaced Lurie with Bochco.. he directed some good shows, but this one was not for him and bad ratings ensued -- Submitted By: () on November 6, 2011, 9:47 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

4 The show in my opinion seems more like a Hillary Clinton vehicle. -- Submitted By: (scatcatpdx) on November 8, 2009, 9:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

6 This show was a pretty transparent political advertisement for Hillary Clinton's (then) upcoming Presidential campaign. America didn't seem to warm up to either the fictional Madame President or her real life counterpart -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on March 31, 2009, 11:42 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
7 I only ever watched one episode of this show - as a goof - and it was actually a pretty decent show. Not decent enough to ever get me to watch it again, but much better than I thought it would be. -- Submitted By: (rick283) on March 13, 2009, 11:32 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
