The list of controversies continues; recently, a seller in Miami agreed to sell a man a PS3 for $160, but when the deal was about to be made, the seller took the money and ran. He was eventually caught, though. A PS3 for only $160? That stinks to high heaven of suspicion. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on August 2, 2009, 11:43 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Craigslist is a joke, Ive tried to sell things two times and I've only gotten African scammers to respond to it. Craigslist is good for human slavery, and that is it, yep. -- Submitted By: () on June 10, 2009, 9:30 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Craigslist boned the fish when their CEO, Jim Buckmaster, was quoted in the mainstream media that the website did not offer sex-related classified ads. With this prototypical denial of reality, I sadly see a prosperous career in politics for Mr. Buckmaster. -- Submitted By: (SoCalCritic) on May 8, 2009, 9:02 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Yeah after the whole Craigslist Killer thing, I happened onto a human slavery documentary filmed in 2009 on MSNBC, Craigslist was cited as a top place for human trafficking to take place. Why the site doesnt close down it's "personals" makes me wonder why the FBI or someone else isnt investigating this criminal enabling website. Shady indeed. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 4, 2009, 8:04 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
They really, REALLY need to filter and screen the things people post on this site. From the home being robbed after an angry and vindictive individual posts a fake "take everything you want" ad, to prostitution services, to the Craigslist killer who was able to use the site to commit murder, I need to know: are the moderators eternally on vacation or asleep at the switch? According to this link, the answer may be both! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craigslist_controversies_and_illegal_activities_by_users -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 3, 2009, 11:56 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
