Awesome, amazing, wonderful show! To the guy who hates it without ever seeing it, that's cool, to each his own. But I think it's the fact that he refused to watch even 2 minutes of it that it makes his comments idiotic. Anyway, Walter White is the best anti-hero to ever be on TV. Bryan Cranston's transformation from a sweet family man to a monster is truly amazing and he deserved every award he got for it and more but it was an AMAZING ensemble cast! Jesse, Hank, Gus, Saul, Skylar, Mike, all incredible and performed brilliantly! I think 100 years from now people will still watch it, long after Modern Family and Glee are long forgotten. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:44 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
sharp, I said to each their own re show choices and, speaking strictly for myself, I still see no virtue to this show [and I'm NOT the only one who dislikes it]. However; it deserves to be noted that there were folks who paid to watch a fake funeral online of the lead character that resulted in monies being donated to homeless families. I love it when folks do the right thing for the wrong reasons! LOL -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on November 26, 2013, 10:42 am - (-8 votes) - Login to Vote
The unbelievable set of coincidences that led to the season two cliffhanger almost derailed it for me. The fake newscasts and the media exposing a single person responsible for a disaster really pushed the envelope. Fortunately it wasn't over emphasized and served as an nearly believable example of the interconnected nature of lives and that our actions do matter. -- Submitted By: (neppie) on October 24, 2013, 7:46 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
You know, someone who goes on a forum and denigrates a show beloved by everyone is one thing, but someone who bashs a show without EVER seeing a single second of a single episode is obviously trolling. Either that or someone with a very narrow closed mind. -- Submitted By: (sharp143) on October 4, 2013, 12:43 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
kingbk, You make some interesting points. Speaking strictly for myself, though, by the same logic, I know castor oil is risky to consume but I have no interest in watching someone else chug it down then have their britches soiled. This is one show I'm not sorry to have missed while working. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 1, 2013, 3:18 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
I'll say this about the series finale: It was an amazing ending to an amazing series. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 30, 2013, 1:33 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Pelirojo, that's the whole point of Breaking Bad. Meth is ruining the lives of the characters it touches. While Walter White gains more power, he loses more of the qualities that made him likable. He basically holds his family and Jesse Pinkman hostage to his whims and wishes. He's not a guy you cheer for. I'm very anti-drug. I've never used them and never will. I've seen them ruin the lives of people around me. That's the whole point of Breaking Bad: No bad deed goes unpunished. I still love this show and how the downfall of Walter White is illustrated. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on September 30, 2013, 10:59 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I've never watched it and the comments here make me even less interested in it because I do not want to see a show that glorifies something that is on record for having ruined everything it touches [producers, consumers, families, the environment]. What next -a show glorifying toxic waste dumpers? To each their own re show choices but I can't in good conscience watch this or pretend there's anything redeeming about the subject matter. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on September 28, 2013, 12:27 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
If Hank and Gomez survive 6 Neo Nazis shooting at them with Automatic Shotguns, the Show may be getting the fillet knife out with 3 episodes left. We'll see when the cliffhanger is resolved soon. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on September 13, 2013, 6:32 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I've been watching this show on Netflix. To put it simply, this show is fantastic. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 21, 2013, 4:43 pm - (5 votes) - Login to Vote
Wow, I'm honestly shocked that there are day one votes for this one... I mean, I say this rarely, and I don't know if I've ever said it before, but this is one TV show that is perfect. Perfect casting, perfect writing, perfect acting, perfect pacing, perfect storytelling, perfect attitude. I mean, there isn't a fish bone anywhere close. I started watching the first episode Friday night and now I'm up to Season 4. It's THAT good. While broadcast stations spin their wheels with tired formats like reality, procedurals, soap operas and sitcoms, cable TV channels like TNT, AMC, HBO, Showtime and USA in recent years have blessed us with some of the best TV shows ever created thanks to the creative freedoms given to the writers and this is one of the top examples. Absolutely positively never boned. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on August 20, 2013, 2:25 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
Super, great, fantastic modern day morality tale about an everyman who turns evil. Walter White had everyone's sympathy and support when all he wanted to do was leave a little cash behind for his family after he died from cancer. I can forgive him for cooking up a little meth if it meant his wife and kids would have a home. Walter, however, became obsessed with making the best meth, than becoming the best meth distributor, and now apparently he wants to be the world-wide meth czar. How much money is enough? In the final episode of Season 5.1 his wife showed him the stack of clean cash they had accumulated. It was 10 feet tall by 20 feet long on each side. It was so much cash they could not even count it, let alone spend it in several lifetimes. Although Walter promised to quit, there is no way he will walk away. I suspect he is going to plow all of that money into creating his super meth net. He even told Jesse, "It's not about the money anymore, it's about the power." -- Submitted By: (jmac9909) on May 15, 2013, 12:45 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
By far the best show on TV. Fabulous writing and well developed characters. A show not to miss. Sad that it will end after the 5th season. -- Submitted By: (Slash56) on June 26, 2012, 5:24 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

If you are not watching season 4 on AMC now, you are missing out, and the show will end next year with season 5. This is Television Gold people. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on October 2, 2011, 6:07 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
The show isn't even finished, and it's already a masterpiece. Hope they don't go past 5 seasons though. Quit while you're ahead. -- Submitted By: (Googalslosh) on April 4, 2011, 7:51 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Just got around to watching season 2 of this on DVD- wow. Do yourself a favor and check this AMC show out right now- never boned. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on September 20, 2010, 4:00 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
This is an awesome show. At first I thought it would be a little boring and pedantic (family guy quote) but they really developed the story and characters well. Very surprised! Watch it and see! -- Submitted By: (bissenmir) on October 6, 2009, 2:28 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
One of the best shows on television right now, definitely agree Chubby. I didn't have much hope for this when it premiered because I thought AMC was just trying to ride HBO/Showtime/FX's coat tails with an "edgy drama". Boy was I wrong. -- Submitted By: (Xenoltih) on July 19, 2009, 7:32 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
