If any presidential candidate adopted an anti-call phone stance, I'd find a way to commit fraud just so I could vote for that person multiple times. Even Hillary. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 13, 2015, 6:14 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
If I want to take pictures, I'd get a digital camera since they're portable and easy to carry. If I want to play games on the go, a DS/PSP is fine. I don't need a thousand apps that feel they need to "get more out of your phone for YOUR VALUE!". A cell phone should just be that...a phone, on the go. If I want to do everything else, I'd get a damn netbook or a laptop. Maybe a phone just for browsing the net and a messenger. I just don't get the rage that we need all these apps just to do the basic of funtions and that are out of bounds for a cellphone's capability. -- Submitted By: (Infyrin) on April 11, 2015, 11:00 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
What bugs me is that people yak on their phones 24/7. I've even seen people talk on them while using the washroom, even while doing number two. Couldn't they go a couple of minutes without using a phone? -- Submitted By: () on March 25, 2013, 6:27 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I like to be able to check the news and sports scores on my PDA on the way to and from work. And the camera has been nice for capturing Adorable Baby Moments. Ironically, the weakest feature is the phone itself. I don't know if cellphones have boned yet, but cellphone culture has been sliding down a muddy slope since texting began to give way to sexting, and the number of YouTube teenage fight videos began to outnumber funny pet vids. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 27, 2011, 3:45 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
On my cell phone, I mainly just use it to talk, take a few pictures, and occasionally play the games that came with the phone. The only times I text are either when someone else texts me first, or if it's the only way I can reach the person I'm trying to contact (although I always try to call them first). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on January 17, 2011, 9:38 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
My criteria for mobile phones: (1) Can I give and receive phone calls? (2) Can I send and receive text messages? Anything else, ....... we'll see. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on October 14, 2010, 4:03 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I work in the high tech/mobile industry as a marketing/pr rep, which is ironic in the fact that I myself own a very low tech cell phone. In many ways I see the benefits of cell phones, but I do agree they are going overboard in different areas as well. All I really care to do with a cell phone is call people. I don't need the games, video, etc. I also think people are too obsessed with their phones, but it's no different than people being obsessed with TV, the internet, or any other high tech gizmo of our generation. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on October 13, 2010, 7:53 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I agree with you, Steph! Sometimes I wish I could go through life without a cell phone! Think of all the money and stress I could save! -- Submitted By: (SVN) on August 28, 2009, 6:31 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I am a rebel and refuse to get a cell phone. I despise them. They are the downfall of society. These people would actually have a nervous breakdown if they had to communicate face to face. And the texting! Really?! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on August 23, 2009, 10:53 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
