Ted Nugent Comments (You must Login to Comment)

I guess it's the anti-animal rights stuff I agree with. What he said was beyond horrible. He thinks he's strong because he attacks a dead person? Anyone can tell you that's cowardice. There's nothing tough-guy about dancing on someone's grave, let alone that of the mother of his children. Is he trying to be as tasteless as Bill Maher or Michael Moore? -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 24, 2012, 12:43 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Robert, I just thought of something that really bothered me about him that's even worse than him dissing us men who opt to not hunt. On the VH1 'Behind the Music' deal with him which did its best to celebrate him, they touched upon the fact that his first wife OD'd after losing a custody battle -and he GLOATED that it just showed she was weak and he was strong! No, I certainly didn't expect 'The Nuge' to be 'Mr. Sensitive' even in a case like this but would it have killed him to have said something along the lines of' Things ended bad between us and I don't pretend we were friends but she didn't deserve that and my kids sure didn't deserve to lose their mother'?! Even a blanket 'No comment' would have at least given the viewer the idea that possibly he might have had SOME compassion in private for his kids having had their mother die that way. His poor daughter was interviewed about this on the 'BTM' and she was STILL shaken about it years after the fact [who wouldn't be] but did he say or do more than gloat in front of her? Yeah, he played some good guitar but that went beyond the pale of all decency regardless of any political views and, yes, I'd say that if he'd been the one who'd died and she'd been the one who outlived him and gloated. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on November 19, 2012, 10:23 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
While I support some of his stances (such as being anti-Peta), insulting people who voted for Obama was uncalled for. I mean, what if he called Romney supporters neanderthals, bigots, and anti-education (against conservatives for being allegedly misogynistic, refusing to support gay marriage and talking of "killing" Big Bird, respectively)? -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 15, 2012, 7:15 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Okay, so Romney didn't win the election, but that is no excuse to diss Obama and call his supporters "pimps, whores, and welfare brats." -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 12, 2012, 9:51 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Not one of my favorite rockers of all time, but "Cat Scratch Fever," when in the right mood, is quite enjoyable, as are "Stranglehold" and "Wango Tango". I don't care that he hunts, but he seems a bit insecure about his hobby, having to talk about it and getting defensive about it all the time (but you can look at the exact opposite side, militant vegetarians/vegans, and come up with the same argument). Also, for a guy that's extremely anti-drug, did he honestly think his song "Journey to the Center of the Mind" wasn't drug related? -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on November 17, 2010, 5:37 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Ted boned when I wasn't 15 years old anymore. Stranglehold still kicks butt tho. -- Submitted By: (GilbertS) on November 16, 2010, 4:45 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't think Ted disses men who don't hunt, he just disses the girly men who think it's insensitive for him to hunt. -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on August 3, 2009, 5:23 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
For me, it's not that I care if Ted Nugent hunts, it's the fact that he loudly disses all men who DON'T hunt that makes him bone with me. Hey, many of us live cities and we think we have better things to do with our time! If I were stuck in the woods with no food, sure I'd hunt whatever edible, non-endangered animal species were available but I don't see the point of going out of my way to do it when there's no need. Besides, if ALL men city dwellers and rural non-hunters raced out into the wilderness to hunt whatever there was, there'd be virtually nothing left for Ted and his friends so he should be grateful that there are those of us who don't hunt instead of dissing us! Why so insecure? -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on May 28, 2009, 9:42 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Boned when he decided to cram his political beliefs down our throats. Who cares if he hunts? So do lots of other people and they don't make a big deal out of it. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on May 27, 2009, 10:21 pm - (-2 votes) - Login to Vote
Uncle Ted will ALWAYS rock, and anyone who says otherwise may be facing the wrong end of his hunting bow. -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on May 5, 2009, 5:47 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
