50 USED to be good. Get Rich Or Die Tryin (not to be confused with the soundtrack) is great. You don't even have to be about that life to appreciate that album. Trust me, I know some gangstas & also some suburban white kids who both bump this album. 50 boned the fish with the Massacre and the fish was fried up and served with a side of coleslaw on his third album "Curtis" and it wasn't just because of Kanye, trust me. I own all 3 of these albums, and on each one, 50 got worse & worse. He started out great. But Massacre was going downhill and Curtis (even though it sold over a million albums) was SO commercial and poppy to the point where i could barely stomach it. It was the same thing he criticized and mocked Ja Rule for. The Pussycat Dolls? Robin Thicke? J Timberlake?? Which, i wouldn't even mind if 50 collaborated with these artists if the songs were actually good. While "Ayo Technology" is cool, it's not because of 50. And "Fire" and "Follow My Lead" were garbage. 50 fell off badly and basically Ja Ruled himself by making sappy pop/love songs and no longer making the type of good music he made before he got his big deal with Shady/Aftermath. -- Submitted By: (Icemouth) on November 28, 2012, 11:11 am - (2 votes)
