In fact, I have tried to add a topic under Random Topics for CiCi's Pizza here but the form errors out and won't submit it. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on November 22, 2011, 10:13 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Little Ceasar's is not the best pizza around, I'll give it that. IMO though CiCi's is WORSE. Don't EVEN get me started on CiCi's Pizza. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on November 21, 2011, 10:28 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I only eat Little Caesars if I'm strapped for cash. Otherwise, I go for other options. I agree that it's not the greatest. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on October 31, 2011, 9:22 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Little Caesars makes Domino's look like gourmet pizza. I will admit, their commercials in the 90s were pretty creative and funny. If only they spent the money they did on marketing/advertising on the pizza you might end up with something tolerable, but instead you end up with pizza that reminds me of cafeteria pizza from my grade school days. The pizza was a little higher in quality back when they made the pizza to order instead of pre making the pizza for $5. Now, it makes no bones about being a mediocre pizza. I guess economically it's a good way to have a lot of food for not a lot of money, but there are much better choices for pizza. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on October 31, 2011, 6:38 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Funny you mention that Robert. Was at a party the other day and half of them took up a collection for Little caesars. The other half (myself included) were like eff that, we're getting Pizza Hut. For a few bucks more we feasted on pizza 5 times the quality of Little cardboard and sauce. -- Submitted By: (Googalslosh) on October 31, 2011, 5:52 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
A $5 pizza is a red flag. A high-quality burger (not fast food!) at a restaurant costs more than $5, so it says a lot about a pizza, which is larger in size (and more expensive to make) than a burger. Thanks for the warning. When we got pizza, we always went for Pizza Hut. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on October 31, 2011, 3:25 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
(), I'm with you on this one. I consider this to be the Motel 6 of pizza chains. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 28, 2011, 8:17 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Sucks. I mean it. Just because a pizza is 5 dollars, doesn't mean it's good. Stop fooling yourselves. -- Submitted By: () on October 27, 2011, 6:48 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

Dolfan- That ad was truly one of the funniest things I have EVER seen on TV. I'm sure that the reason it hasn't shown up in some form on YouTube is the fact that it ran for a much shorter time than the typical LC's ad ran (didn't stay on long enough to get caught on tape). Maybe the networks felt it was in poor taste (ie: implied vomiting- you know the networks back then were still a little skittish about any sort of excretory or scatalogical references either implied or blatant) so perhaps they urged LC's to pull the ad prematurely. I just hope it turns up somewhere, someday. Little Ceasar's- if you're reading this- LEAK THAT AD ONTO YOUTUBE!!! -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on November 17, 2010, 5:18 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

There are some Little Caesars around where I live and for $5 a pizza without ordering I can't complain. I do remember in the 90's the cool thing about Little Caesars (other than the little Roman guy saying "Pizza Pizza" in the commercials) was that it was the first square pizza I ever had. As a kid I thought it was a cool gimmick. -- Submitted By: (dr_sarcastor) on November 16, 2010, 12:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
As for the quality of the pizza- meh. I've had worse. The thing I miss most about Little Ceasar's is the TV commercials. For a time Little Ceasar's had some of the funniest and most imaginative commercials on TV. My personal favorite was one I call "Uncle Nunzio." To give you some perspective to set up the ad- around the time "Uncle Nunzio" aired, there were a bunch of new spaghetti sauces that had come on the market and were blitzing the airwaves with these schmaltzy, 'a taste of the old-world' type ads hawking these new sauces complete with somewhat dreamy imagery of the Italian countryside and so on and so forth (I think you get my drift). Anyway, there was this commercial that starts out just like the aforementioned spaghetti sauce ads going on about somebody's old Uncle Nunzio who got up at the break of dawn, chose only the freshest ingredients and spent all day whipping up his old-world culinary masterpieces. Then they cut to the stereotypical Italian family all laughing and talking seated at tables in a beautiful lush garden with fountains and statue art reminiscent of Italy preparing to enjoy this meal. This portion of the commercial ends with the calm male voice-over saying "...and the entire family can agree on one thing- it's tastes AWFUL." Then suddenly everyone starts making faces as if they had just been told they'd just put dog poop in their mouths. A fly flies over one of the pots of food, makes a frantic buzzzing sound then drops dead. A kid dumps a plate of Uncle Nunzio's food into a fountain with a statue then the statue throws up. Then they make some suggestion that the family would've done better to go to Little Ceasar's Pizza and they throw up some splash screen with their latest deal. Funny Funny ad. I keep looking for it on YouTube, but it hasn't shown up there yet. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on November 15, 2010, 9:37 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't know what happened to these guys. They used to be everywhere in the 90s. Then they all closed down. Recently one of them opened up again locally. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 11, 2010, 9:31 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Not the best pizza by any stretch, but acceptable quality for the price. Good deal to feed a bunch of kids. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on July 22, 2009, 8:48 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
