My friends used to make fun of Ickus, by comparing him to Kid Icarus from Captain N, who ended many words with "Icus". I.e., cow-icus, Captain N-icus. That aside, I wound up liking Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, more than Rugrats. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 6, 2010, 12:28 pm - (0 votes)

It was such an offbeat, off-color Nicktoon when it came out, but it found an interesting medium between the colorful, obnoxious, gross-out humor of Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life but retained the charm and characters you sort of cared about found in Rugrats and Doug.
