The last time I ate at Dennys it was awful. Cardboard tastes better than what they are serving now. It used to actually be good back in the 90s. What happened!? -- Submitted By: (TomPettyFan) on June 2, 2018, 11:15 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Worked at Denny's in early 90's. Not bad. One or two racial incidents blown out of proportion. Not employee's fault. Clean and convenient for tourists and such. Better than Wendy's and McDonald's anyday of the week. That's speaking as customer and employee. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on January 19, 2011, 10:41 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I used to eat at Denny's a few times when I was younger, but I can't recall the last time I ate there. I prefer places like IHOP and Applebee's. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on January 19, 2011, 3:02 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't eat at Denny's. Not when there are better restaurants like Chili's. I haven't eaten at Denny's for over 10 years. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 21, 2009, 12:08 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
OK, back when I was a fan of Tim Allen's, I saw "The Santa Clause" and in that movie epitomized when Denny's boned. Right before he bumps the legit Santa off the roof, Tim's character is stuck with his young son on Christmas Eve and the divorced dad is so unprepared that the only way he can think to feed the kid is to take him to Denny's! No surprise that the kid looked like he wanted to cry and who could blame him? It would be very hard for many people to think of a worse eatery for Christmas Eve dinner than Denny's! What truly amazed me was that Denny's let Disney use its name and materials throughout the entire scene instead of forcing Disney to change it to something unrecognizable ! It was as if they themselves knew that there was good reason why no one who had any other option would want to eat there on Christmas Eve and they didn't mind themselves being portrayed as the LOWEST point of a dad and kid's sucky Christmas Eve! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on May 18, 2009, 2:14 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
