I love the PJs, it's one of the brillant show on TV. Too bad FOX is such a douche to take this off and keep crap like Glee and American Idol. I hope they come out with the DVDs. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on January 12, 2011, 1:17 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Excellent show. Remind me why Fox axed this show again? -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on July 7, 2010, 4:21 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
This comedy never failed me. I knew that every time I watched it, I would have at least one good laugh-out-loud moment. Is this on DVD yet? -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 6, 2010, 3:10 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

I will add the comment I had more or less placed on that other site. I loved the humor the animators had, they had jokes in there that no one ever bothered to point out--you actually had to keep your eyes open to catch them. My favorite was one of the background stores, "Wywont Brothers Liquor". Absolutely hilarious, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. -- Submitted By: (ThomasEdison) on October 11, 2009, 7:30 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I really like this show. One of my all-time guilty pleasure. Eddie Murpy's Super is probably as close to real life as any dramatic series portraying the decaying urban existence. Plus, some great supporting characters, the sister-in-law from Jamiaca, her Hispanic husband, the crackhead, Juicy, the violent old lady. Funny times 10. -- Submitted By: (GregEichelberger) on July 15, 2009, 2:17 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I frickin LOVE this show. I am glad they are currently running it on TVOne. I can't rave enough about the creativity. I would snap up a DVD box set in a Detroit nanosecond. The characters are so fresh (ok, albeit stereotypically done) and the foamation and sets are top-notch. This could have gone on for a few more seasons, but I read somewhere that the NAACP wanted it off the air(??). Whatever. Sensitive much? Come on, if bumbling white guy Homer Simpson and King of the Hill(billies) have staying power, why not the lovable, hysterically funny PJs. This show was so well-done and pee-your-pants hilarious. How could you not love crass but benevolent Thurgood, mild-mannered Muriel, the doddering Mrs. Avery, hapless Smokey, the innocent Calvin and Juicy, fiery Bebe etc. "How the Super Stole Christmas". Genius. -- Submitted By: (Lori9) on June 18, 2009, 8:50 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
