TV Shows - Countdown with Keith Olbermann

Countdown with Keith Olbermann is an hour-long weeknight news commentary program on MSNBC. Hosted by Keith Olbermann, the show counts down five selected news stories of the day with news reports and interviews with guests, along with commentary by Olbermann. The show is known for Olbermanns fast-paced rhetorical style, historical and pop culture references, ready interjections, and strong and often scathingly liberal opinions. Olbermann melds news stories, both serious and light, with commentary, much of it critical of the Bush administration. The show has been the source of some controversy due to these criticisms, as well as its host's ongoing criticism of Fox News Channel, and his feud with rival commentator Bill O'Reilly of Foxs The O'Reilly Factor, whose show runs directly opposite.

Wait, why is Never Jumped on the board? THIS IS BONE THE FISH!!! Not the trash TV Guide destroyed! The prefered way is to say "Never Boned" -- Submitted By: (tvfan) on April 27, 2011, 6:32 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Everyone's criticism of Olbermann can be equally said about O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Beck, etc. -- Submitted By: (Googalslosh) on April 4, 2011, 8:00 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Al Gore has a network now??? That might be the most horrifying news I've ever discovered, seriously. LMAO at Olbermann not even having a never boned, that's hilarious. Just goes to show what a great job ChubbyRain has done cleaning up the vote spamming. Makes all the difference in the world. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on February 11, 2011, 9:09 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Keith Olbermann boned when he made the following statement on Scott Brown "In Scott Brown, we have a irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against women and against politicans with whom he disagrees" Nice job not trying to play the Fox News name calling game Keith.....NOT. Thank god he is off of MSNBC, but now he will be working for Al Gore's network at some point, whcih is hardly suprising. -- Submitted By: (tvfan) on February 11, 2011, 2:18 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Of course people can always submit a new "Never Boned" reason for any topic that lacks it. Of course, is there actually a fan of Keith Olbermann's out there? Havent seen one yet. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on October 21, 2010, 10:24 am - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
Why there isn't a Never Boned reason: before you joined BTF, there was vote stacking. At least one user was spamming "Never Boned" votes for liberal topics and "Day One" votes for conservative ones. All. Day. Long. The reasons topped 1,000 votes in many cases. Thus the reasons with suspected and confirmed stacked votes were deleted. Surprisingly, a few conservative topics are missing their "Never Boned" reasons. If some topics which have liberal/conservative undertones are missing their "Never Boned" or "Day One" reasons, it's because they fell victim to vote stacking. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on October 21, 2010, 10:10 am - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote

Olbermann was FAIR on ESPN. what did he do that made people think he deserve a politically based show? -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 21, 2010, 1:04 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Keith could have been a great counterbalance to Fox News, however he resorts to hate-filled insults which have alienated people who he could have swayed to his side if he kept the vitriol to a minimum. Now his only viewers are his choir he preaches to. It wouldn't hurt if he put on guests with opposing views to state their case and have reasonable debate. It doensn't have to be a shouting match unless he has a hard time controlling himself and lacks patience. -- Submitted By: (JamesO) on March 10, 2010, 6:14 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
DolFan, was Olbermann EVER witty ...? -- Submitted By: (GregEichelberger) on July 17, 2009, 5:29 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Keith Olbermann has gone form witty ESPN anchor (anyone remember that?) to a servant of evil, who along with other liberals actively roots for America to be destroyed. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 15, 2009, 4:37 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Olbermann has evidently never forgiven Fox for firing him. He probably actually thinks he's both funny and clever, but calling an already vapid former Miss California a "fake boob" is neither (banter like that disappeared when I moved up to the third grade). Also, really brave of him to NEVER bring on guests with an opposing viewpoint. At least O'Reilly - for all his faults - isn't afraid to argue with (or berate) someone. Who's the worst person in the world? Why, it's Keith Olbermann, of course. -- Submitted By: (GregEichelberger) on July 15, 2009, 1:19 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Olbermann, like Michael Moore, is merely another lying, propagandist mouthpiece. He's complete vermin. He's also an emotionally unstable train wreck waiting to happen. -- Submitted By: (BrianBuck) on June 16, 2009, 6:55 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
You don't have to agree with him, you just have to give him his props for believing in what he does and bringing passion to his reporting. -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on May 19, 2009, 5:30 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
