Random Topics - Philips CD-i
The Philips CD-i, or Compact Disc Interactive, was an interactive multimedia CD player. It focused mostly on educational titles. In addition to some game shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, the CD-i also had some titles starring Nintendo characters (the titles were licensed, but not created by Nintendo), as well as learning games for younger children. The CD-i was released in 1991 and discontinued in 1998.

Are there any good games for this? At all? I came across one of these for free and have yet to find any games unique to this system that don't suck. There are a few like Pac-Man and Tetris that are OK, but you get those for any game system. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on April 9, 2011, 6:29 pm - (0 votes)

They made one of the worst Mario and Zelda in the history of video games. In the other hand, if it wasn't for Philips CD-i, we wouldn't have something to make fun of with the Youtube Poops. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on April 9, 2011, 10:00 am - (0 votes)
