Penelope Cruz was a love interest for Jack? I must have missed that episode. I cannot recall her even on the show. -- Submitted By: (Englebert) on June 13, 2014, 11:31 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
This show is hilarious. I love when it pokes fun of politics. It is especially entertaining when left wings nuts say it makes too much fun of them, and when right wings nuts say it makes too much fun of them. Liz and Jack have a hilarious relationship, and the entire cast is spot-on. Put your politics away and get a sense of humor. ALL politicians are crooks. All of them. -- Submitted By: (Englebert) on May 10, 2014, 1:30 am - (6 votes) - Login to Vote
This show has its momments but it spends to much time bashing the right and not just trying to be funny. Shows like this only last because of the owners political views not because of the show. The show could have been better and worth the watch if it just left the left wing talking points out of it. -- Submitted By: (Russ) on February 22, 2012, 10:22 pm - (-4 votes) - Login to Vote
I used to love the fact that this show poked fun at everything. It was smartly written with unique characters. Many episodes contained great remarks on society, culture, politics, etc. Great satire. But something happened this past season. Maybe Tina Fey took her eye off the ball with all her other work. The situational humor seems more obviously constructed, one-liners seemed more forced. I've switched over to Amy Pohler's show. Her show is different in tone (more sweet / less satire then 30 Rock) but the characters seem more true. It's like 30 Rock characters ham it up for the camera. Maybe I've become too accustomed to 30 Rock's once-unique style. -- Submitted By: (gregjlan) on August 4, 2011, 10:23 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Unfunny show, and why in god's name Fey has become such a media darling escapes me. She made for one of the all-time worst periods for SNL ever (and considering how many bad periods SNL has gone through, that's quite an achievement), and her 'writing' here is no funnier than it was then. Mostly heavily watered-down redo's of Larry David material, skewed towards some pseudo-hipster demographic who think they're paragons of high-IQ because they 'get' a lot of lame jokes and references to pop culture tropes that were already stale when they'd originally been used back in the eighties. Baldwin's the *only* worthwhile thing about this heap, and even he's getting into a tired and rather unfunny rut these days. -- Submitted By: (elainewood) on September 24, 2010, 5:24 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I really love this show. However I worry that the new cast member they added could be a sign of a "new kid in town"? -- Submitted By: (dontstopmenow) on June 3, 2010, 9:31 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Quite hit or miss. Some episodes are great, others are boring. The fact that uber-liberal Alec Baldwin plays a straight-edged conservative executive convincingly makes the show watchable. Hasn't boned... yet. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on May 6, 2010, 12:09 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I watched it when it started and was bored as hell through the pilot. So I've missed the past couple seasons but started tuning in again because everyone around me who watches it loves it. It's pretty good. I think it's a lot more hit-and-miss and it makes me sad sometimes that it survived over Studio 60, but it's great to see Fey and Morgan on TV still and Baldwin is just great fun. -- Submitted By: (SamuraiPanda201) on March 10, 2010, 11:23 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Is it just me, or is each episode a 30-minute inside joke? -- Submitted By: (creton4) on November 13, 2009, 9:17 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
