Cut the price by a few thousand dollars, and maybe this "revolution" would of taken over. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on January 21, 2010, 4:20 am - (1 votes)

it's the hype that was the real problem.
this thing isn't completely useless, especially now that there will be more and more old people around (not being able to walk for more than 5 minutes), and there are places you just can't go on a motorcycle or in a prius (small streets, inside buildings and shopping malls, etc)
but 'revolutionizing transportation'? LOL, LMAO -- Submitted By: (selena) on January 20, 2010, 7:47 pm - (0 votes)

It boned before day one over the secrecy and snake oil hype how Segway was going to revolutionize transportation as we knew it. The Segway was going to reduce pollution and alleviate city traffic; all it did was to invent a new way to face plant. -- Submitted By: (scatcatpdx) on July 7, 2009, 10:44 pm - (1 votes)
