Random Topics - Furby
Furby is an electronic toy created by Tiger Electronics. Between 1998 and 2000, it was the must-have toy for the holiday season. Though its retail price was $35, it flew off the shelves and the price rose to several hundred dollars through auctions and individual sellers. It spoke a language known as "Furbish", but as time progressed, they spoke less Furbish and more English.

I loved Furby as a kid. Hard to get, but super cute. Then they tried to duplicate it's success with the Shelby, which was also very cute, but the fad had passed by then. Furby was a positive moment in my childhood. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 4:31 pm - (0 votes)

Don't forget C: Bending their circuits. I haven't done it, but I've seen it. Disturbing, but funny. Here's an example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMmsuUM5RcY -- Submitted By: (Robert) on October 16, 2010, 9:02 am - (0 votes)

The only fun to be had with these things was to either A. reprogram them to be foul mouthed or B. roast them in a microwave. -- Submitted By: (Acobjum) on October 15, 2010, 9:09 pm - (1 votes)
