TV Shows - Curb Your Enthusiasm

Curb Your Enthusiasm is an Emmy Award- and Golden Globe Award-winning American comedy series starring Seinfeld writer, co-creator, and executive producer Larry David as himself, and produced and broadcast by HBO. The series was inspired by a 1999 one-hour mockumentary titled Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, which David and HBO originally envisioned as a one-time project. Six seasons of the series have been produced and aired on HBO between 2000 and 2007. A seventh season began production in December 2008. As of late 2008, HBO has been promoting the upcoming season for Fall 2009, along with several other shows.

1 Season 8: Moving to NY and taking an apartment from an associate was lame. His antics were still Larry all the way, but the story-lines were becoming too far fetched. And why would half the L.A. cast move to NY???? I love Suzie, but for her to leave her beautiful home and her daughter was a bit unbelievable to me. Also, starting the season off with a cliffhanger was a HUGE mistake. We already knew what would come of that. -- Submitted By: (richieyo2000) on February 4, 2013, 9:05 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Hasn't boned yet, and I'd just as soon put the idea that it COULD bone out of my head. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 19, 2011, 2:47 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

4 It's still a funny show well worth watching. That being said, I think after Season Four is when it boned (or jumped or whatever). A "special hour long show" is a good sign right there and the fifth and sixth seasons were uneven at best, especially when Cheryl left in season six. With Season Seven it seemed to get some of its groove back with the Seinfeld reunion and I hope Season EIght has him reconciling with Cheryl. She's necessary to the show by acting as Larry's seldom heeded concience/voice of reason. -- Submitted By: (MartyRotten) on April 14, 2011, 10:42 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
