Random Topics - Trolls (internet)
Trolls are people who purposely post messages in topics intended to anger or annoy the online community. The term's origin is unknown. One theory is it was based on the fishing technique where bait is slowly dragged through the water, which is called "trolling". The other is that they were named after the trolls of Scandinavian folklore, which are obnoxious and mischievious creatures.
