Batman Beyond Comments (You must Login to Comment)

I don't really know what the point of this was, either. I remember at the time the fans wanted a Justice League cartoon (which they eventually got) and were upset that they went this direction. Whenever these shows try the timeskip to the future gimmick, it never seems to work. (Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.) It's fun for an episode or two and then the novelty wears off fast. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on February 21, 2013, 5:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I agree with the Joker. Terry McGuinness is not Batman. Though, I hate to admit I loved to see Batfake mess with Joker's head in that film... I'm not going to vote, though, because it's not possible to jump the shark on day one. That shouldn't even be an option. -- Submitted By: (TheCeej) on February 16, 2013, 10:32 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Batman Beyond took place in the future. I remember in one episode (which aired prior to the 2000 election), Terry and his friend were discussing the Presidents. Terry asked which president came after Clinton, and his friend mentioned "the boring one". -- Submitted By: (Robert) on January 18, 2011, 9:07 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
i liked the IDEA of this show. but the execution was poor and the desire to add teen drama to a show that should have been about batman kicking butt just hurt it. and the original villians made for it, they just arent as cool at the batman:the animated series villians. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 11:36 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
This show was OK, but there's only one Batman: Bruce Wayne. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on August 20, 2009, 2:36 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
They've never needed a new Batman for the comics. It didn't need to happen on TV. -- Submitted By: (SamuraiPanda201) on July 21, 2009, 12:34 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
