TV Shows - Lone Ranger, The
The Lone Ranger is an American, long-running, old-time radio and early television show created by George W. Trendle and developed by writer Fran Striker. The eponymous character is a masked Texas Ranger in the American Old West, originally played by Paul Halliwell, who gallops about righting injustices with the aid of his clever, laconic Potawatomi Native American sidekick, Tonto. Departing on his white horse Silver, the Ranger would famously say "Hi-yo, Silver, away!" as the horse galloped toward the setting sun.

BTW, the episode was called "Bad Medicine". I had to google it to make sure it wasn't just a weird dream I once had. Here's the imdb link to the ep: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0635325/synopsis -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on September 14, 2012, 3:44 pm - (0 votes)

Parker,
And 'Luigi' may be why Clayton Moore ALWAYS wore a mask in public long after this show ended -even going to court to fight for the 'right'. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on June 16, 2012, 5:39 pm - (0 votes)

It boned when "Lone" impersonated an Italian immigrant named "Luigi", and used this accent that was straight out of Joe Dolce's "shappappa-you-face". He was also constantly referring to himself in the 3rd person...."a-yessa....Luigi she fix-a for you."
It was so over the top it was actually funny, but I really doubt they were trying to be. This rivaled Fred Flintstone's alter-ego "Goggles Pizano", which WAS supposed to be funny. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on June 14, 2012, 11:13 am - (0 votes)
