Well, he keeps announcing that he's retiring then eventually releases a CD or goes on tour. The Chris Gaines album was horrible and full of unmemorable songs. They even did a mock Behind the Music about him. If he had been a real person, I doubt very much he'd be a superstar as depicted in the mockumentary. And what ever happened to Garth anyway? While I am not a major fan of country music, Garth Brooks was tolerable for most of the 90s. Then he came out with that "Life of Chris Gaines." WTF???!!! I guess he was supposed to make a movie out of that or something. What was he trying to do with that? Hands down, the most spectacular fish boning in history.
