TV Shows - Candid Camera
Candid Camera was a hidden camera television series created and produced by Allen Funt, which initially began on radio as Candid Microphone June 28, 1947. After a series of theatrical film shorts, also titled Candid Microphone, Funt's concept came to television on August 10, 1948.

Not a bad show but it went on for WAY too long- and the idea that ordinary folks didn't know who Alan Funt was or expect him to come 'round the corner became rather ludicrous by the end.Believe it or not, the show started out on radio as "Candid Microphone"- anyone else find that oddly more intrusive than being filmed? -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on February 12, 2010, 11:38 am - (0 votes)
