Streaming internet music which allows you to "build" your own radio station. You can list the artists/music you like and it's supposed to play those requests/suggestions....and for the first couple of days it does! It plays every song you loved by every artist you ever loved!
But then.....it starts slowly adding these not so great songs that you haven't heard since 1979. Then, it starts adding more obscure, not-so-great songs by not-so-great artists...to where you don't recognize anything! And you only get a handful of chances to "skip" the song. I feel like I'm in the 70's listening to an 8-track tape player with no way to fast forward or rewind. Then it freezes up and gives you some smart-ass comment like, "our license only allows you so many skips per day.....". I'm like, "WHATEVER!"

I tend not to stay on any one station for more than a half hour so I haven't noticed anything amiss regarding the playlists. A number of good but obscure bands I've discovered are not available via iTunes or Rhapsody or wherever, but Pandora seems to have all of them. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 7, 2011, 8:46 am - (0 votes)

So according to the description Pandora creates the illusion of giving you a choice before forcing unwanted change on you without your permission? Seems about right for today's world. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 15, 2011, 5:25 pm - (0 votes)

I can't possibly vote anything but "Never Boned" about such a noble endeavour as the Music Genome Project (though I do wish my "Comsat Angels Radio" station had a larger playlist). -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 15, 2011, 4:03 am - (0 votes)
