Websites - Bonsai Kitten
Bonsai Kitten was a hoax website, a parody of the Japanese art of art of Bonsai, in which trees are carefully dwarfed. The site suggested dwarfing kittens by placing them in glass vessels so they would grow to fit the shape of the container. Though the original site is no longer online, there are mirrors with copies of the original site.

I was really amused that so many people fell for it...but really, the joke is done. Everybody knows that it is a hoax, so it is really time to take all the copy-sites down.
