I think people were already so burned out on Happy Days this show, which frankly was built around a couple of Happy Days second bananas, was doomed for the fillet knife before it hit the cutting board. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on April 8, 2013, 10:02 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
OK, "most" people agree this show skd from day one, but what about specific stuff that you hated about it? I recall that one of the members of their "band" was this frizzy-longish-haired space cadet. Seeing this guy all I could think was "Good God! Don't tell me they're going to try to inject the drug culture into a show revolving around Happy Days characters!" Thankfully it didn't last long enough for that. Even "The Wonder Years" knew enough to make that only a passing reference most of the time. In the proper context it's OK, but to have it just for the sake of having it is a bone......kinda like the AIDS storyline in "Life Goes On". -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on October 9, 2012, 4:01 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

The only thing this show will ever be remembered for is the myth about its popularity in Korea. http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/joanie.asp -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on October 6, 2010, 9:18 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I know the producers needed to get creative when Howard left, but one would think they would have learned something after the fiasco of "singing Potsy". Let's face it, that girl looked more like Howdy Doody than Howard did. I could never understand why ANYBODY watched that thing. -- Submitted By: (HistoryProf) on September 2, 2010, 8:42 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
Ironically, it started out as the No. 1 TV show in its time slot, but within months had slipped enormously. Why? Because it sucked on ice! Never could stand Scott B., in "Zapped," in "Blansky's Beauties," in "Charles in Charge," etc., etc., etc. -- Submitted By: (GregEichelberger) on February 24, 2010, 10:50 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I'd point out how it boned Day One but it would be as challenging as shooting ducks (or fish) in a barrel!Lame! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on September 27, 2009, 4:24 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
