Just how many versions must we tolerate? Will we tune in one day to find "CSI: Hooterville"? Is Hollywood completely bereft of creativity now? -- Submitted By: (jgf) on February 28, 2012, 9:33 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

Stephanie, perhaps Ted Danson will prove to be the Barnaby Jones of the New Millenium re a performer previous known for broad comedy doing a serious detective show. However; the whole CSI conglomeration has gotten so overextended and tired that I'm not sure Danson jumping on board that topheavy, sinking ship would be good for either of them! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on September 18, 2011, 5:43 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It was brutal with Grissom leaving and it was bad enough watching Ike Turner cover a crime scene and now it's going to be like watching Sam Malone investigate a crime scene. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on September 17, 2011, 2:53 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
I haven't really watched any version of CSI in awhile but I did see an ad for the upcoming season with Ted Danson. I'm not sure how well this will work Teds' most notable roles are in sitcoms. I only know of two (Cheers and Becker.) But I think CSI boned a long time ago. I'd say when Grissom left. The whole damn thing should end really, all of them. Then make way for CSI: Houston, Toronto, Seattle, Detroit, DC, Juarez, Des Moines, Lincoln, Bangor. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on September 13, 2011, 8:40 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote

Naren Shakar leavinjg did not help . And now david Rambo is gone over to V. But worst of all, the way they did Liz Vassey. She did not resign as some have written but was asked not to return for season 11. In fact her manager had to tell her. The Lab Rats were a break from the Laurence Fishburn show. Another good cast member leaving. She has paid her dues and they were really quick on the trigger after Naren Shankar (did many of the episodes but more well known for the Lab Rats episodes). If they do not bring her back show will tank. It's already springing leaks. -- Submitted By: (ziggy28) on June 30, 2010, 4:30 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Three (possibly four) things wrong with CSI as it stands now: 1. Grissom leaving. The guy has been holding it together for ages, and the show needs him. Catherine's not strong enough as a lead character. If they'd given Laurence Fishburne Grissom's old job it could have just worked, but now, it's lost it. 2. As a result of this, Horatio and Mac just look better as team leaders (although Horatio is rapidly going the way of Grissom. It's only Mac who has a team I believe in as a unit and whom I like pretty much all of as individuals). 3. Grissom and Sara getting married. Multiple levels of wrong. He's been portrayed as the father figure, she has dad issues, just... no! 4. The fact that Grissom and Sara keep coming back. Either leave or stay, but don't drag your eventual exit out, exec producer or not. It isn't fair. How are we supposed to bond with new characters if you won't let us cut our ties to the old ones? -- Submitted By: (tyorkshirelass) on January 26, 2010, 2:21 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
this show has been going downhill from the start: they were long past even TRYING to pretend anymore that what they were doing was scientifically accurate, or even feasible. but sarah-grissom-romance (after several seasons of building him up as a father-figure for her) was the final nail in the coffin: *puke* and don't get me started on sarah's: 'my parents killed each other'. bringing up childhood-molestation is the laziest way there is, for writers, to generate sympathy for a character -- Submitted By: (selena) on January 20, 2010, 7:24 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
I never could stomach the Grissom and Sara relationship. It was a bad decision and it made the show too soap-opery. Ooo Sara's been kidnapped...but I love her...blah blah blah...yuck! -- Submitted By: (itscreams) on October 10, 2009, 4:35 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I tried to give it a chance, I really did. But the cast was just too...smarmy. Always cracking jokes over dead bodies, because neither they nor anyone they knew were ever going to die (rolls eyes). The middle aged Catherine flouncing around like she was Miss Thing. Sarah Sidle's petulant tantrums every now and then, and then having Grissom and her get it on. Like most other shows these days it just seemed like high school all over again, but this time with adults in the workplace. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 10, 2009, 5:51 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
To me, it boned when Grisson left. As wonderful an actor as Laurence Fishburne is, everytime I see him, I see Ike Turner. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on July 1, 2009, 3:49 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I really didn't like last night's episode of CSI. First of all, it was too focused on Catherine, but mostly I just didn't like the science. To try to make the evidence indicate a particular suspect, which is unarguably what they were doing, is what is wrong with the system and just bad scientific method. -- Submitted By: (rainbowjane) on April 24, 2009, 11:07 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't remember the crime scene kiss, but I've never cared for Catherine and I'm guessing she is the one that did it. -- Submitted By: (rainbowjane) on April 15, 2009, 1:24 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
The point where I realized it was going downhill was when one of the character kissed a potential suspect while she was investigating a crime scene, the drama from this show came from the evidence, not from who's having sex with whom. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 7, 2009, 10:07 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

The spin off does suck, but that doesn't make the original suck. -- Submitted By: (rainbowjane) on March 26, 2009, 6:48 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
