1 At first glance, Ice Cube as a comedic actor seemed like a bit of a stretch, but it worked well enough that the first movie turned out to be pretty good. However, the second movie basically recycled the same comedy memes and they got real old REAL fast. For instance, the kids laughing every time something bad happened to Nick got old after the first few minutes of the sequel, and actually, the schtick was already getting old before the original was over. Like Weekend at Bernie's, this concept only had one movie in it. -- Submitted By: (Mythigator) on May 9, 2016, 10:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 I never saw any of these films, but with the title of the second one - Are We Done Yet? - really? They already wrote the joke for the critics. Self-depreciation works only so much and so far. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on October 27, 2013, 7:13 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Well PYLrulz I suppose he's just following protocol. Look at Ice T, the artist formally known as puff daddy, Eminem, Snoop, the list goes on. It's a rising trend in rock and rap I guess. It's really sad though. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on July 25, 2011, 12:19 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
4 Ice Cube's path to selling out and being not even a shadow of what he once was, is complete by this point -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on July 25, 2011, 6:23 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
