I liked him as a voice actor (Aladdin) and in many movies. But his cheating changed my view of him for the worse. Does nobody in show biz know how to be faithful? -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 21, 2011, 10:51 am - (2 votes)

He's a talented man, but sometimes he can be a bit much for me. I think he actually does a great job as a dramatic actor and I also think his stand-up comedy is very funny as well. I'm less thrilled with his comedy films (though The Birdcage was great and he did a fabulous job as the voice of the genie in Aladdin.) -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on May 20, 2011, 10:48 am - (1 votes)

I said this on the Arnold Schwarzenegger topic, and I'll say it here: I don't care what political leaning a person has, if you cheat on your spouse, then you're scum. End of story. How disgusting that Robin cheated on his spouse with a nanny. But it would have been great justice if that nanny turned out to have a lot of things in common with Mrs. Doubtfire... -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 19, 2011, 11:26 am - (2 votes)

Maybe they didn't care because Williams has a (D) next to his name rather than an (R). Or maybe because he is relentlessly PC. Or because any actor who plays a person like Patch Adams - cough cough commie cough cough - gets an automatic pass. However, I'm leaning toward the fact of his never having run for office as the key factor there. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 19, 2011, 2:12 am - (2 votes)

As the media trashes Arnold for his infidelities (which he deserves), let's not forget that Robin Williams did the exact same thing. Williams divorced his wife and married the knocked-up nanny. Nobody in the media seemed to care when he did it. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 18, 2011, 5:12 pm - (3 votes)

His Oscar for Good Will Hunting was well-deserved, and he's done other good work over the years. (Has anyone here seen One Hour Photo?) I never cared for him as a comedian, but he has some legitimate talent as a serious actor. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 16, 2011, 10:48 pm - (0 votes)

The guy can be funny, but, as the one selection says, once he starts yapping at times, you just wonder if he has an off switch -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on December 28, 2010, 5:20 am - (1 votes)

I liked his stand up routines on HBO and hiscomedy albums. The movies are another story, especially the ones where he plays the misunderstood person who always triumphs on the end. Go back to HBO Robin... -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 5, 2010, 2:02 am - (1 votes)

Never thought this guy was funny. I avoid everything he stars in, though Aladdin was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I can't understand how anyone over the age of 10 can laugh at his brand of "comedy", no offense. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 3:01 pm - (2 votes)

I wonder if even his biggest fans would genuinely like to sit on a plane next to him for more than ten minutes! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on February 22, 2010, 11:13 am - (4 votes)

Arguably one of the most brilliant improvisational comedians ever. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on February 22, 2010, 6:07 am - (-1 votes)

Never liked this guys shtick, you know the manic comic sans comedy. He was never funny in my opinion. His acting is even worse than his comedy with the perpetual smile even when in a dramatic scene. Damn you Hollywood! Awakenings though was an excellent movie, but that was due to Robert De Niro's wonderful performance. -- Submitted By: (fletch000) on February 7, 2010, 12:12 pm - (1 votes)

Kinda sad that the highlight of your career is a voiceover role in a Disney film. But face it, Aladdin is the only movie Robin Williams is in that doesn't suck. -- Submitted By: (BrianBuck) on December 3, 2009, 7:31 pm - (1 votes)
