Movie Series - Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey was a 1993 remake of the 1963 film The Incredible Journey, which itself was based on the book written by Sheila Burnford. The movie followed the adventures of three animals--an American Bulldog named Chance (voiced by Michael J. Fox), a Golden Retriever named Shadow (voiced by Don Amache), and a Himalayan cat named Sassy (voiced by Sally Field)--who go off in search of their masters. Both the original film and its remake were produced by Walt Disney Pictures, as well as the 1996 sequel, Homeward Bound: Lost in San Francisco. Since Don Ameche passed away before the sequel was made, Shadow is instead voiced by Ralph Waite. The movie differed from the book; the book's animals were Luath the Labrador, Bodger the English Bull Terrier, and Tao the Siamese cat.
