I liked this show, pretty educational. I also enjoyed Beakman's World. Not so much for the educational value, as it was just so wacky. I think the creators of this show were definitely smokin' something. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on September 13, 2012, 10:04 pm - (0 votes)

Bill Nye came into my bookstore once. He was quite unpleasant. However, I too liked his show. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 27, 2011, 2:16 am - (0 votes)

Ah, Bill Nye! As a kid, it was this show that got me interested in science, and overall persuaded me to become a better student. Hasn't boned and never will! -- Submitted By: (ElBlocko) on May 5, 2010, 3:51 pm - (0 votes)

I loved Bill Nye! It was the best educational show ever and one of the tops in Disney's "Golden Age" (1928-early 2002; yes, Disney produced this show alongside KCTS 9)! Speaking of KCTS, I lived in the Seattle area from 1988 to early 1995 and was amazed (when I was little) that this was a Seattle show! I remember meeting Bill Nye in person at a mall in Seattle in 1993! He signed the "Big Book of Science" (a purple-colored book with experiements and facts galore), which my family still has today! I loved the flying episode, the volcano episode, the water cycle episode, the space episodes, etc. I remember doing experiments such as melting ice into steam, making a star finder with a protractor, cardboard, and a metal washer, and my family even got me a shoebox full of science experiments; my favorite was building a volcano out of a pie plate (funny, we even drove all the way to Mt. St. Helens then)! They don't make shows (such as Bill Nye) like they used to! -- Submitted By: (SVN) on September 16, 2009, 5:42 pm - (0 votes)
