Movie Series - Stuart Little

Stuart Little was a 1999 live-action/CGI film, which was very loosely based on the book of the same name by E. B. White. Stuart Little is a mouse (voiced by Michael J. Fox) adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Little (played by Hugh Laurie and Geena Davis) and their son George (played by Jonathan Lipnicki). When Stuart gets home, he meets Snowbell the cat (voiced by Nathan Lane), who is not happy that he is sharing his home with a mouse. When he can't take Stuart's presence anymore (and is subsequently humiliated when Stuart tells Snowbell's cat friend that he lives with the Littles), he plots with his alley cat friends to get rid of him (but not kill him). In 2002, Stuart Little 2 was released in theatres. Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild was a 2006 direct-to-video release.

1 I know a parody when I see one. This was plagiarism. The singing of "Hero" and Stuart quoting Spidey? Yeah, that was parody, but they totally copied the spiderwebs at the beginning of Spiderman's commercial. Some probably mistook the SL2 commercial for Spiderman's, and SL2 wound up advertising for its competitor. Caught in their own fishhook. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on February 5, 2011, 1:26 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Robert, I think that was meant as a parody... -- Submitted By: (blurbdragon) on January 30, 2011, 7:19 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
3 When Stuart Little 2 was in theatres, so was Spider man. I remember seeing a commercial for the movie: spider webs, scenes from the film, the song "Hero" playing as scenes from the movie were shown, and the hero's voice saying, "This is my gift, and this is my curse". Why am I describing Spiderman's commercial? Believe it or not, I was describing the commercial for Stuart Little 2... totally ripping off Spidey. That was a super-boning of the catch of the day. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on March 28, 2010, 12:26 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
