Comcast Comments (You must Login to Comment)

How this corporation manages to stay a float and continually treat their customers like imbeciles is absolutely astounding. This is why monopolizing should be illegal, because we need alternatives to go to, so that we don't have to tolerate being forced to sign up for such horrible services like Comcast. -- Submitted By: () on April 27, 2015, 10:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
That's funny! And it saved a lot of money, too! -- Submitted By: (Robert) on January 24, 2013, 10:13 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
And old story about Comcast and my dealings with them. Years back, my family wanted to get cable back in the house again. So we call Comcast to have someone hook us up. Days go by, no one comes out, even after repeated calls. My dad got so pissed off, by the time someone from Comcast DID come out, he read them the riot act, and apparently, the guy got so scared, he just hooked up the cable, no questions asked, and left, didn't get any other info down or anything. Got free cable for years because of it (until they decided to get DirecTV a few years afterwards) -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on January 19, 2013, 11:43 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
After it becomes Time Warner they become obsessed with statistics and survey none of which do the customer or the employees any good. Employees can be terminated if thy don'tpass the customer satisfaction survey. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on January 16, 2011, 5:33 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

I think I am one of the few who has never experienced problems with Comcast. I was with Quest for a while, convinced that a bundle with them (phone, internet, satellite) would not only save me money but would give me more channels, faster internet, and more reliable phone service. Well I can tell you that I got none of those things. I stuck it out through my contracted year and then went back to Comcast. It's been smooth sailing ever since. -- Submitted By: (Cadbury) on June 11, 2010, 10:10 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
An update of my comment saying "people are better off switching to satellite": I did just that yesterday. What a difference! Everything's improved, and it will cost less than Comcast did. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 15, 2010, 11:10 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Comcast sucks. Just raised the rates? Lets raise em again! You got a problem? Screw you, our employees wont give two damns about your problems! Want competition? Sorry, were the only cable in town! Thank god for Satellite TV. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on December 7, 2009, 7:12 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Comcast sucks. I daresay people are better off switching to satellite. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on September 29, 2009, 11:26 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Comcast has been the worst cable company I have ever experienced! In general, they are infamous for quite possibly the worst customer service ever! I've heard horror stories about some Chicago lady getting a bill addressed to "B-Dog"; people having difficulty getting through the automated call system; an old lady in the D.C. area being jailed for sledgehammering her local Comcast office; Galveston-area customers being billed thousands of dollars from the Ike damage last year (because of lost equipment); and worst of all, Tuscon customers being subjected to 30 seconds of smut when the Arizona Cardinals lost their Super Bowl (analog feed only)! And what did they get for their trouble? 10 bucks! 10 lousy bucks! If I were Comcast, I would have apologized in form of a letter, provided them a free upgrade to Digital/HD cable (for an analog price; a permanent price lock), and issued a certificate for one free Pay-Per-View show! All of that, right there, just shows you how lousy their services really are! They should seriously get customer service lessons from Neiman's or Nordstrom's if they want to climb back to the top again! Locally (TX), we had Comcast from 2002 to 2006. We have had a little bit of customer service trouble, but none like what I mentioned above. However, their "forced commercials" (which run in two 30 second intervals) were a nightmare; not only were the PPV commercials shocking, but my family was a little bit iffy on the Comcast product commercials, too! Thank goodness for Time Warner now; sure, they have problems of their own, threatening to pull channels off the lineup, still some bad forced commercials (this is a problem with EVERY cable and satellite system, especially Dish Network), and still problems with customer service, but at least they're tame compared to COMCAST!!!!! -- Submitted By: (SVN) on September 18, 2009, 8:18 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
