Music Groups - Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a rock orchestra founded in 1996 by Paul O'Neill, who immediately approached long time friends Jon Oliva, Robert Kinkel, and Al Pitrelli. The band's musical style incorporates progressive rock, symphonic metal, and heavy metal, with influences from classical music. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has recorded and performed renditions of traditional Christmas songs, and these have been among their most popular works. They are also known for their elaborate concerts, complete with a full light show and dozens of pyrotechnics that are synchronized with the actual performance.

1 OH COME ON! A thumbs down for the "Ding Fries Are Done" comment? It was a JOKE!! I own the CD and I know/knew good and well the track I referred to is called "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)". Pretty good CD, BTW, if you like Christmas music. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on January 25, 2013, 12:33 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
2 I cannot honestly say that I am familiar with their greater body of work, but their version of Ding Fries Are Done is the bomb! -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on June 24, 2011, 9:18 am - (-3 votes) - Login to Vote
