Movie Series - Conan the Barbarian

Conan the Barbarian is a 1982 film by director John Milius and is recognized as the acting breakthrough of Arnold Schwarzenegger who had previously been a famous bodybuilder. The film is loosely based on the Conan the Barbarian stories by Robert E. Howard and was written by Oliver Stone and John Milius, set in the mythical Hyborian Age. It was followed in 1984 by a lighter, more child-friendly, but less successful sequel, Conan the Destroyer. Both it and its sequel are sword and sorcery epic tales that include magic, monsters, and fantastical events.

Conan the Barbarian Comments (You must Login to Comment)

1 I have to rate Conan the Barbarian as one of my all-time favorite movies (piss on that Nostalgia Critic). Destroyer however, just makes me laugh at how bad it is. Is Zula a man? I can't tell... And whatever happened to Subotai from the first movie? Is he dead? Did Conan replace him with that crap-awful thief? Wilt Chamberlain, that's great Travlotron. -- Submitted By: (dr_sarcastor) on November 30, 2010, 8:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

3 I always laugh at Conan the Destroyer when they appoint Wilt Chamberlain as guardian of the princess's virginity. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 20, 2009, 6:09 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
