The Amazing 3 was a Japanese cartoon series created by Osamu Tezuka, who also created Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. The Amazing 3 was about a trio of agents from outer space who are sent to Earth in order to decide whether the planet should be spared or destroyed. The agents are humanoid in appearance, but take on the forms of animals on Earth. They include Captain Bokko, the brains of the group, who feels the earth should not be destroyed over the actions of a few bad people. Her skills include hypnosis, super hearing, and the ability to control the inner workings of machines. She takes on the form of a rabbit. Nokko also does not want the Earth to be destroyed, and is very fast and strong. Fittingly, he takes on the form of a horse. The last member is Pukko, who is a curmudgeon who sometimes shows he has a heart of gold. He is the only one of the three members in favor of destroying the Earth, and this stance often puts him at odds with his fellow agents. He takes on the form of a duck. They meet a boy named Shinichi, who becomes their ally throughout the series. This series debuted in 1965.
