TV Shows - Beagles, The

The Beagles was a cartoon which aired on CBS from 1966 to 1967. It was a parody of The Beatles. The Beagles were two anthropopmorphic dogs: Stringer the guitarist and Tubby the bassist. Their manager, a Scottish terrier named Scotty, often got the duo into trouble when he planned publicity stunts. According to Joe Harris, the reason the series was cancelled is because after the editor died on the job, his widow disposed of all the editing materials, including the master negatives.
