CURSE YOU DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!! CURSE YOU TO HEEEEELLLLL!!! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on March 9, 2015, 6:04 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
DST is basically just a "fuck you". It's basically a form of control, when you think about it. "OH! HAHAHAHAHAH! LOOK AT ALL THESE PEOPLE HAVING TO SET THEIR CLOCKS AHEAD! HAHAHAHA! WHAT A BUNCH OF IMBECILES! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE IT SO YOU KEEP IT LIKE THAT FOR SEVEN MONTHS BEFORE BRINGING IT BACK AGAIN! HAHAHAHAHA!" -- Submitted By: (Infyrin) on November 16, 2014, 5:50 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
ExplodingConsole, I noticed it gets dark at 5 pm too. Wasn't the purpose of this annoying ritual to SAVE extra daylight, not LOSE it? Further reason why DST needs to go. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 11, 2010, 8:08 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I've never understood why we need DST. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on November 8, 2010, 4:59 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
While it is annoying when we get towards the time to Fall back that it's still dark at even 7am or later, it's also annoying that after Fall back that it's already dark even as early as 5pm. It's one of those damned if we do, damned if we don't kind of things. -- Submitted By: (ExplodingConsole) on November 6, 2010, 5:24 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Anytime we spring forward and fall back, like clockwork (no pun intended), there's a flood of letters to my local newspaper complaining about DST. Frankly, I don't see any reason for this anymore, all it does is throw everybody's internal clocks off-sync for several days. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 3, 2010, 9:24 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Well, whenever the new start and end times are, it's annoying as hell. Can we all agree on that? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 15, 2010, 7:39 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
And it begins in March. -- Submitted By: (MacFan95) on April 15, 2010, 6:14 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
DolFan, DST actually ends in November! -- Submitted By: (MacFan95) on April 15, 2010, 6:11 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
You really can blame Bush for the Daylight Savings Time extension: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_Policy_Act_of_2005#Change_to_daylight_saving_time -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on April 15, 2010, 12:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Definitely BTF when the government randomly decided to extend it by a couple of months for no reason. Does anybody else remember that? It used to not switch until April or May, now it changes in February and stays all the way through October I think! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 14, 2010, 10:06 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Daylight savings time is really annoying. It never fails to throw my biological clock out of order. Why do they keep it? There's no reason to keep DST in this day and age! I also heard that farmers hate DST too. And even though they are not the ones who implemented it, they are blamed for it. Dump DST now! -- Submitted By: (Robert) on April 3, 2010, 8:54 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It has to deal with energy consumption. Instead of having daylight at 4 in the morning when everyone is still sleeping, and an extra hour of darkness when everyone is awake. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on April 2, 2010, 3:59 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I despise DST! You lose that 1 hour and you never get it back! Why do we even do this anyway? It's not like it's 1860 and we need to have more daylight to plant the crops. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on April 2, 2010, 10:11 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
