I actually don't get what the fuss ist about...so, the Pope has ancient beliefes, Angela Merkel is like Teflon, the Iran is secretly conspiring against other arabian states...tell me something, I didn't know or suspect already. Really, everything in those documents about the German politicans were things that the German press is writing more or less daily...it's not really surprising that the American policians think so too, or that they are a little impolite about it when they think that nobody beside them will read their words. If anything, it's embarassing (and a little comical) that the big "information collector" USA is unable to protect their datas properly... -- Submitted By: (Swanpride) on December 25, 2010, 1:35 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
The site, as someone said, started out great, but then before you know it, Assange is constant news EVERY DAY. Please give us a break. -- Submitted By: (Northeastern292) on December 24, 2010, 4:41 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
They started out OK. They exposed a whole bunch of secret Scientology documents. I think these were the guys that also hacked into Macrovision and found documents detailing all kinds of ways the RIAA, MPAA, etc. are trying to screw over and persecute people. This year however, they seem to have gone off the deep end. Now everything they do seems to target the US Government, Military or Intel. Like other governments out there aren't doing shady things, too? If you're going to leak secret US documents, you should be leaking the JFK papers or Roswell. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on December 1, 2010, 5:02 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I'm all for needing to know certain things, but the man who came up with Wikileaks, just reminds me of an internet troll who throws a proverbial hand grenade into a crowd, walk away, and watch the destruction from far, far away. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on November 29, 2010, 6:24 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

So what that America's enemies also have the internet? The public has a right to know! You'll give us your Social Security and bank PIN #'s next, right, Assange? After all, the public has a right to know! -- Submitted By: (Robert) on July 27, 2010, 10:23 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
