TV Shows - Kid Nation
The show, featuring 40 children aged 8 to 15, was filmed on location at the Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch, a privately owned town built on the ruins of Bonanza City, New Mexico, eight miles south of Santa Fe, with production beginning on April 1, 2007. In the show, the children try to create a functioning society in the town, including setting up a government system with minimal adult help and supervision. The program was originally scheduled to air in the summer of 2007.

13 episodes is good for me. Pretty sure if they had a second season every kid would be trying to meta-game the show and they'd either keep it in which would just make it seem dumb, or they would try to fakely edit it out and make the kids seem super naive. So never boned at the point it made it to, but I'm pretty sure had a second season occured, some pretty horrible stuff would've gone down. -- Submitted By: (Liva148) on August 7, 2012, 10:41 pm - (0 votes)

This is absolutely no way to teach the children independence. Reality TV is a god-awful concept, and I have gotten less respect for it for this. There is no creativity behind it but to see how you can humiliate anyone. The kids in these shows will grow up scared. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on May 5, 2010, 5:55 pm - (0 votes)
