I admit this show had a rocky start but I adore H. Jon Benjamin and have been a fan since he did the voice of Ben on Dr. Katz. This show features a weird animation style rendering everyone ugly and strange looking, which probably turned off a lot of people. I kept watching and soon the strangeness wore off and I started to like the characters. Bob's son Gene is the funniest kid on TV, ever! Bob himself is pretty funny and you have to admire the guy for following his dream, even if that dream includes running a beat-up burger shop and barely avoiding poverty. The social satire on the show is priceless, especially when the Belcher's see how the rich people they admire are crude half-wits and not very nice. I never watched an episode, but I know it sucks. How can I say this sucks when I never watched it? Well, imagine someone told you they made a pie. They tell you the main ingredient is cow manure.
