Music Groups - RadioheadRadiohead are an English alternative rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The band is composed of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano, beats), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboard, other instruments), Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass guitar, synthesizers) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion). Radiohead released their first single, "Creep", in 1992. The song was initially unsuccessful, but it became a worldwide hit several months after the release of their 1993 debut album, Pablo Honey. Radiohead's popularity rose in the United Kingdom with the release of their 1995 second album, The Bends. The band's textured guitar parts and Yorke's falsetto singing were warmly received by critics and fans. Radiohead's third album, 1997's OK Computer, propelled them to greater international fame. Featuring an expansive sound and themes of modern alienation, OK Computer has often been acclaimed as a landmark record of the 1990s. Wikipedia Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiohead

The three albums beginning with Kid A were a challenge for me, deviating so heavily as they did from the band's previous sound. But I came to appreciate them, and their last two albums are quite good. Clearly Radiohead is a band you either really like or really dislike; there seems to be less middle ground than there is with other artists. (I'm not quite sure why that is, but it is what it is.) -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 15, 2011, 2:49 am - (-2 votes) - Login to Vote
Radiohead is boring. Great cure for insomnia though! -- Submitted By: (diezman) on November 22, 2009, 8:42 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
To me, Radiohead dissing the daughter of Satan himself Miley Cyrus makes them forever immune to shark jumping. Miley Cyrus is pure evil. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 9, 2009, 6:15 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Miley Cyrus is just an entitled little cry-baby. Why should Radiohead care what she has to say anyway. -- Submitted By: (rainbowjane) on April 22, 2009, 6:57 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
