1 Great - and I mean GREAT - early stuff, but that nasty old beast called "creative differences" came along and tore up the place; the last album with vocalist H.R., Quickness, didn't know what it was supposed to be, and after he left in 1989 the band didn't seem to know what it was either. The only consistent element after '89 was Dr Know's wonderfully insane guitar work, but that wasn't really enough. A sort of reunion album with a much reduced H.R. came out a few years ago, but it's kind of weak. Apparently they're staying together for another record or two, and they've been touring all over the place, but I don't know why they bother. All in all, Bad Brains was on top of its game in the '80s and probably boned for good when the decade ended. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 11, 2011, 3:05 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
