National Broadcasting Company (NBC) Comments (You must Login to Comment)

Ok, can I take back my comment about their sports being good?!? They just did one of the worst hatchet jobs in recent memory when, after Bodie Miller won a bronze medal in a skiing event at the Olympics, one of their vultures... err.. interviewers went to him, and basically asked him over and over again about his dead brother until he broke down crying, and the camera stuck on him crying afterwords while NBC producers seemed to shoo away one of his teammates who tried to console him. Absolutely disgusting to see that go down on TV. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on February 17, 2014, 3:02 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Agreed. If it wasn't for sports, NBC would be far worse than what WB or UPN was. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on April 2, 2013, 12:47 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
NBC is living and dying off of sports. The NFL, Olympics and PGA golf are saving this channel from complete demise. Their primetime schedule is atrocious. The only show doing competently is The Voice. Revolution is ok, but I worry that it's just another "Lost" ripoff. Grimm is ok. Everything else can and should be cancelled. I liked Community until it took itself way too seriously with it's meta humor. The Office should have left the channel two years ago. Nobody watches Today and its smug host and Jay Leno only appeals to old people. NBC is holding out hope that Bill Cosby or Jerry Seinfeld or Jennifer Aniston once again walks through the door to save the network, but there are dark days ahead with no light on the horizon. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on April 1, 2013, 1:20 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't think NBC has ever boned. (sarcasm) -- Submitted By: (Jp) on March 29, 2013, 4:35 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
The only way, IMHO, that NBC will bone back is if they go back to that Proud N w/11-feathered peacock. That was, I think, the best logo that they ever had. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on April 29, 2012, 4:39 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
When they dumped the original Peacock logo [with 'the following program is in living color' flute playing narration] which was cool even for those of us with black and white sets- and traded it for that sterile Angled N one around 1975, the network started its downhill slide, IMO. Yeah, call me a fossil if you like but check out the programs from that time before and afterwards and see if this wasn't a watershed moment re program quality. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on November 9, 2011, 1:15 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I couldn't even tell you how long it's been since I last watched NBC. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on November 8, 2011, 4:20 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
..on second thought, if BTF had a wall of fame, Comcast would definitely be up there too -- Submitted By: () on November 7, 2011, 10:25 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Yea they should get rid of him.. was hoping with the Comcast takeover, the network would be on the upswing, but hasn't happened -- Submitted By: () on November 6, 2011, 9:28 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

I don't watch any of the networks anymore. Is NBC the one only people over 50 watch, or is that CBS? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 4, 2011, 6:36 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I've been pissed at these guys ever since I was a kid and they canceled ALF after a cliffhanger. But man, that idiot Jeff Zucker really took the network into a tailspin. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 4, 2011, 5:43 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Nothing worth watching on this network anymore..it's audience ratings are starting to rival the CW's.. but they started to lose steam even during the Friends era -- Submitted By: (stryker73) on November 4, 2011, 4:18 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
