It's not really the studio that can bone or whatnot, since *any* studio is going to release some duds and if there is an array of classic, fantastic films the number of duds will only be larger.
What is the matter for the mostpart is when they try to replicate their successes (i.e. Shrek) by countless sequels and/or superficial versions (e.g. like Shark Tale being an "underwater Shrek"). There is still potential for them to stand on their feet with Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon by going in their own paradigm. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on November 25, 2012, 5:33 pm - (0 votes)

True story: somebody I went to high school with actually worked on Kung Fu Panda (and apparently the Hunger Games as well among others). BTW that Circus Afro bit makes me want to shoot my TV. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 7, 2012, 7:27 pm - (0 votes)

In my opinion, Dreamworks' films have improved a lot since Kung Fu Panda (although I personally never had a big dislike for them anyway), but if there is one thing that annoys me about them, it's that they will milk/overexpose any character or scene from their films that gets even remotely popular (I'm looking at you, Circus Afro). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on June 7, 2012, 3:47 am - (1 votes)
