My concern is the lack of accountability; there is no structure to insure the person raising the money will spend it responsibly and not just take the money and run. The downfall is when people realize Kickstarter enables crowd fleecing the flock. -- Submitted By: (scatcatpdx) on December 26, 2012, 3:14 pm - (1 votes)

Well it's a good site if you know what you can actually get- I raised about 1000, and my goal was 1000, so it worked, you need to remember random not well known folks cannot get 50,000 dollars, so dont let your reach exceed your grasp, and anyone can succeed with a good idea on this site! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on September 19, 2012, 3:27 pm - (0 votes)

I guess you're right, Chubby Rain. It turns out the system worked and he didn't get his $900,000. I should look into this site more closely. I still have a few movie concepts that I'd like to see realized and I wonder if this could help me out. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on September 18, 2012, 7:56 pm - (0 votes)

A great tool for creators big and small, who cares if they want $900000 dollars for Pitfall 3? The people can decide if they want it. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on September 13, 2012, 8:50 pm - (0 votes)

This was such a great concept and I know a lot of people have been helped by this site. But now you've got guys like David Crane wanting $900,000 to make Pitfall 3 that are ruining it. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on September 13, 2012, 12:09 pm - (0 votes)
