I can be a bit of a conspiracy theorist at times and I really honestly think that 'Sam & Cat' was AG's little insurance policy if the new CD flopped. You know, CD flops, well there's always the show she could fall back on. It seems to me that when her music career started really getting some steam going, that's when we started hearing about trouble on the set. Just a theory. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on October 19, 2014, 5:51 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Lets be honest, once Ariana Grande became a pop star this show was doomed. No wonder Nick milked the show for all it's worth. 35 episodes in one season? If the show was going to have a season two my guess it was going to be without Grande. She had a team of lawyers looking into her contract trying to get out of it. Looking back maybe they should of had the show be around Sam and Jade. -- Submitted By: (bjohn345) on September 25, 2014, 5:41 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Like 'Joanie Love Chachie' (spelling probably incorrect) here you have a new show built around a couple of 'second bananas', only in this case the so-called 'bananas' came from two different wildly popular shows that mercifully ended their respective runs. Guess Nicklodeon thought they could bottle up the old magic to use in the formula for a new show and keep that gravy-train a'rollin'. Nice try Nick. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 5:59 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
This show was hexed right from the get go. Disappointing ratings have now been followed by the recent estrangement between Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande over Grande allegedly being paid more. Looks like this is only going one season. -- Submitted By: (John63btf) on May 11, 2014, 7:48 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I have been watching this show for awhile now, and it is definately not a "kids show." There are adult references everywhere. I love it! -- Submitted By: () on May 10, 2014, 10:56 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
