I like the Muppets. I've never found them to be laugh out loud funny like some people, but they are cute and put a smile on my face. They lost some of their spirit when Jim Henson passed away, but they still manage to keep much of the humor that made them popular. Saw the new movie and thought it was fun. The Muppets are good, clean, comedy that appeals to both kids and adults. With the overabundance today of vulgar humor and potty jokes, it's a breath of fresh air. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on November 30, 2011, 1:22 pm - (1 votes)

I agree, Travoltron. Seriously, what's the hold-up regarding the release of seasons 4 & 5 of The Muppet Show on DVD? That said, The Muppet Show didn't bone - it got better as it moved along. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on November 27, 2010, 8:49 am - (0 votes)

This is one of those few shows that really was as good as you remember it as a kid. I wish they'd release the rest of The Muppet Show on DVD instead of making new Muppet projects. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 26, 2010, 2:50 pm - (0 votes)

A cute show, but I'll admit I never thought it was the hilarity-fest that some people claim it to have been. -- Submitted By: (elainewood) on September 24, 2010, 5:27 pm - (0 votes)

Since Jim Henson died well after the last episode of the Muppet Show went to air, I say never boned. The show actually got better as it went on- more mature humour, better guests etc. -- Submitted By: (doctorwhorox) on June 25, 2010, 7:42 pm - (0 votes)

I'm the person who submitted the "death of Jim Henson" reason, and I'm sorry I did because I didn't check to see about this show specifically. What I was speaking of was the Muppets in general, meaning the movies, Sesame Street, everything in general. -- Submitted By: (Spooky) on May 20, 2009, 11:02 pm - (0 votes)

Muppets was meant for an adult audience...but it was safe to let the kids watch. Never boned! A classic in its own right. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 13, 2009, 12:20 pm - (0 votes)

This show never boned. Also, Jim Henson died way after The Muppet Show ended, so I don't think Jim Henson's death should be a reason why it boned. -- Submitted By: (Marcus) on May 8, 2009, 7:54 am - (0 votes)

I grew up watching this cool show, but I haven't seen it now in a long time. I always liked the special guests. Leo Sayer, Loretta Lynn, and Elton John were just a few of my favorites. and Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy were my favorite Muppets. oh and Fozzie Bear too!! I don't think it ever BTF! -- Submitted By: (Riley2009) on April 21, 2009, 12:12 pm - (1 votes)
