I thought Ted McGinley did a great job on MWC. The character Steve was boring. Jefferson was far more entertaining. IMO -- Submitted By: (Jp) on November 18, 2013, 4:50 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
He boned back, because before Married.....With Children, he was pretty much the kiss of death whenever he was cast on a show. I agree it wasn't his fault, but all those sorry coincidences can't be ignored. Truth is he took a lot of roles on shows that everyone knew were on the downward slide. Do I blame him? Hell no! Struggling actors have to eat, but I can't vote "never boned". If anything, the string ended when he was cast on "Married.....With Children". I don't think he was better than Steve, or worse. I think they were both funny, but in a different vein. Steve was funny because he always let himself get dragged down to Al's level. Jefferson was funny because he was already there, but was always having to hide that from Marcy. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on July 19, 2012, 1:31 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

I liked him on Married With Children. The only thing that this guy is guilty of is the bad luck of always joining shows whenever they are WELL PAST their shelf life. Love Boat always WAS lame, and Happy Days was already dying a slow and painful death by the time Ted came along. Don't blame Ted, blame the writers. -- Submitted By: (jimdcarter) on January 31, 2010, 11:30 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Ted McGinley ROCKS!!! I liked him better than Steve on Married With Children. The way he laughed at Marcy behind her back whenever Al would insult her never got old. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 9, 2009, 6:48 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I know he actually had his own place of honor over at JTS, but this site isn't JTS is it so Ted gets new life here. Saying Ted brings bad luck to any series he joins is like saying the Justice of the Peace causes people to die when he shows up at the scene of an accident. He isn't called until there is an accident and the paramedics have determined the person is no longer living. He has the thankless task up showing up and signing the document to make it official. Ted was first called up to help Happy Days after everyone had left and Fonzie was basically the star. Ted was called again when the Love Boat was running out of ideas and needed a photographer for whatever reason. His phone rang again when Steve left Married With Children and Marcy needed a new love interest. In each case Ted was called up when a series was in trouble. He isn't the Sitcom Grim Reaper, He's the Sitcom Doctor. -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on May 3, 2009, 7:43 pm - (6 votes) - Login to Vote

Day one! Ted McGinley brings bad luck to any and every TV show! I sure hope he guests on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon so that these channels as they are right now can be put out of their misery! -- Submitted By: (SVN) on April 24, 2009, 9:39 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
And on the pale horse sat Ted McGinley, and he brought death to every series. -- Submitted By: (ClanMcLeod) on April 24, 2009, 4:45 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

He can always breathe another year or two of life into a show. -- Submitted By: (rick283) on March 24, 2009, 9:29 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
