I uninstalled Unleashed from my PC simply because I was tired of dogs peeing in my yard. -- Submitted By: (Liva148) on June 5, 2012, 12:37 pm - (0 votes)

I never really cared for Sims 2 (I was pretty sure that there would be Sims 3 one day, and there surely will be Sims 4 one day too...why bother? There are still creaters who will give me great new stuff for sims 1), but thats not the reason, the game boned for me. It actually boned a little bit earlier, when they created superstar and put a copy protection on it, which crashed with the newest windows systems. Since I have XP, my pc can't read the CD properly anymore...one would think that during the last YEARS EA would have bothered to create a patch for the problem, but noooooo, why should they, its not like the sims 1 gamers are the buyers of the future, are they? One would think that they would have at least learned after the fiasco...but noooo, with the sims 2 they had the safe disk problem again. The absolute boning moment, not only for the sims, but for EA in general, is the new copy protection which prevents the buyer from installing the game on more than five PCs...hello, I BOUGHT the software! It is my freaking right to play the game for the rest of my life, never mind how many different PC I decide to own in the meantime. -- Submitted By: (Swanpride) on December 6, 2009, 1:11 am - (0 votes)

I still enjoy the Sims 2 now and then, but the Sims 3 is a massive disappointment. -- Submitted By: (InsanityPrelude) on October 2, 2009, 7:02 pm - (0 votes)

Kitchenbreak, how did you find this code and is it available for all Sims games? If so, maybe I might give the series a second chance. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on August 7, 2009, 6:53 pm - (0 votes)

Yes the maintenance part can be frustrating and I think it got blown out of proportion game wise. Yes we know it's a simulation game and we know people eat, drink, etc etc. I got tired of that so I got a code to disable the "I'm hungry I'm tired" stuff. -- Submitted By: (kitchenbreak) on August 7, 2009, 11:45 am - (0 votes)

Way too much maintenance, especially in "Urbz: Sims in the City". If my Sim wasn't tired, he was hungry. If he wasn't hungry, he had to take a shower. If it wasn't that, he had to use the toilet. If it wasn't THAT, it was............ The point is, I couldn't talk to other Sims or be social because every second I spent playing that game was spent on fulfilling this guy's rapidly decreasing levels. MySims is much better. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on August 2, 2009, 1:26 pm - (0 votes)

I HATED The Sims when it first came out with the burning passion of a thousand suns!!! My God, where do I even begin with this abomination??? How about the fact that the player had to literally do EVERYTHING for the characters, and if you didn't they'd urinate right on the floor, pass out where they stood, etc. Or the fact that each room took about 10-15 minutes of "Sim" time to walk across, meaning that if you didn't start walking across your living room to go outside to your carpool 15 minutes before time they'd leave you or you'd be late for work? Or how about your character actually getting DEPRESSED and refusing to function if you didn't keep buying stuff? As far as I could tell that was literally the only reason for even having a job (hey, same as real life!). Or that somehow your guy didn't and could never own a car yet one mysterious person in the neighborhood did and everyone else had to jam inside it just to get to work? Or that your guy had to work EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY? Or that it was actually possible to burn to death cooking food? Or that if you went more than one day without cleaning the kitchen, this massive cloud of flies would appear out of nowhere and buzz around? Or that you could start off the game living with a woman, but couldn't have sex until you spent a month or so TALKING with her every spare minute you had? Worst game ever!!! GAAAAH!!! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 27, 2009, 7:16 pm - (0 votes)

The Sims are a victim of their own success. They have made too many expansion packs and now it is just an annoying fad that won't go away. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on June 9, 2009, 3:51 pm - (0 votes)

Too many expansion packs released at extortion prices.
$49.99 for the incomplete main + 10 Add-ons released at the same price + 10 more item packs at a generous $19.99 a pop = going broke to play one game. -- Submitted By: (Jon_Dohnson) on May 12, 2009, 3:35 pm - (0 votes)
