And yours, too, Shanequia, and I'm sure Pelijoro feels the same way. -- Submitted By: (PokeyJHorse) on April 16, 2015, 1:22 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It's a little more pricy but what isn't these days. Some of the stores are way too red. I've always thought of the color red, along with yellow, as aggression colors. So, why paint your walls with that much of it. Red accents would have been better. Walmart has done this as well. Some of their stores are far too blue. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on June 27, 2013, 10:32 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Target's musical commericals keep their advertising interesting, but sometimes they miss the mark. For example, a few years ago they had an ad with the theme (and prominent lyrics) of "gotta get it right now". The ad was done in a punk-rock style, and the singer sounded like she was either half asleep or experiencing some severe gastroinstestinal distress when she recorded her part. This year, we've got "Ula Ula", with some other lyrics that sound like they're in Spanish, all over the advertising landscape, and ... what the hell is up with that? What are the lyrics supposed to mean, and who the hell's idea was it to make an ad out of that. All I know for sure is that "Ula Ula" is NOT Spanish for "I was smoking something really weird when I wrote this", since I do know how to say that in Spanish. Anyway, that song's enough to make me think several times before spending any time at a Target this summer, just on the off-chance that whatever drugs the songwriter and ad people must be on are also being aerosol-released into the stores. -- Submitted By: (Mythigator) on June 24, 2013, 7:06 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I really hate their latest commercial which uses a really bad version of the Mr. Rogers theme. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on May 25, 2013, 4:56 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I love this store, but some employees are douchebags. -- Submitted By: (Mr.Zimpy) on January 2, 2011, 7:22 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Whenever I go to a store, I treat the employees with respect. If they're nice to you, be nice back to them. If they're nasty or mean, they may be having a bad day. Or they may be unhappy at their job. Make it better for them, as a little act of kindness goes a long way. When it comes to Target, all the employees I met are nice. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on June 4, 2010, 1:35 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Shanequia, that's good that your experience at Target is good. Mine was horrible. Our managers were horrible. It was also in a very pretentious town and they were one of the few businesses who hired college students. Because of that I have a hard time going to them. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on April 6, 2010, 4:50 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Good testimony, shanequia. I like that it has much of the merchandise I need at very good prices. However; I have to confess I was worried that when they first opened branches in my city that some yahoo would use the signs for shotgun practice but, so far, that hasn't happened. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on September 22, 2009, 11:13 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
