Music Groups - Tupac Shakur (2 Pac)

Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 - September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac (or simply Pac) and Makaveli, was an American rapper. In addition to his status as a top-selling recording artist, Shakur was a promising actor and a social activist. Shakur became the target of lawsuits and experienced other legal problems. He was later shot five times and robbed in the lobby of a recording studio in New York City. On the night of September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He died several days later of respiratory failure and cardiac arrest at the University Medical Center.

1 Well, not only that. But there was a concert held where they made a digitized version of him that supposedly resembled his whole being. He was basically a hologram that sang, was dressed like him and performed like him. I mean, come on now...You're just basically making money off of his name and his fake appearances. -- Submitted By: (Infyrin) on April 21, 2015, 8:40 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Hard to believe it's been 15 years since 2Pac got killed. Yet, they're still releasing albums of his stuff. Isn't the well dry yet? Whether dead or alive, I never cared for him at all. It just isn't my thing. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 24, 2011, 12:39 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
3 MCS- now that you mention it, I agree with you, I just never made the connection. I always like how when someone like Michael Jackson Dies, everyone is a big fan, they would have nothing to do with him when alive!! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on February 19, 2010, 7:18 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
4 So are you saying if Vanilla Ice were to try a rap comeback, there might be hope? -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on February 19, 2010, 4:05 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
5 How is it people can keep releasing music from beyond the grave? Also, has anyone noticed that whenever a musician dies they always were planning a comeback or had something they were going to release even though they had been out of the limelight for years? Random tangent, just curious if anyone else has noticed it. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on February 18, 2010, 11:20 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
